I JUST BOUGHT A GROUND DRIVEN JOHN DEERE SIDE DELIVERY RAKE I THINK IT IS A 1970s MODLE I DONT KNOW THE MODLE I AM GOING TO PAINT IT I WAS WONDERING HOW THE COLORS WENT MOST OF THE ONES I SAW ARE ALL GREEN

Check the photo galleries on the right, maybe someone has posted a picture of one like yours. Or better yet, post a photo of yours on the implement board and see if someone can identify yours for you.

You'll probably want to know the model # for parts some day, so I would look real real close for the serial tag when brushing the rust off.

Just a hint about the internet - it is really, really hard to read all capital letters, and it is looked at AS IF YOU WERE ANGRY & YELLING AT PEOPLE when one uses all caps. Not that it bothers me, but just a little help. Using lower case seems so much friendlier & easier to read...
