Any chance it was someone you knew or someone who heard about your tractor when purchasing parts? Or someone in the insurance industry selling info on rare and valuable items?

Glad to hear you got it back. I have had some things stolen and the only I got back was destroyed stuff. I hope your rig is not destroyed and if it is there is some way to force restitution.

Good outcome. Recovery of stolen tractors is probably rare. Hope it is still in the same condition as when stolen. The story no doubt is very interesting.
