Howdy folks,

Well, I don't want to be a burden to anyone and with the whole "religion" thing on the disclaimer I kinda feel leery postin this. But I know you all are good folks and have been a great help to me many times over. So, if ya pray, would you put in a word for my dad. He was flown by aircare down to Cincy this afternoon with chest pains. Turns out he's got blockage in 5 places and will have open heart surgery tomorrow morning. I truly appreciate your help. God bless.

By now the surgery may be over but I have prayed for him. I hope the surgery goes without any complications. I always remember telling a friend who was about to have a similar surgery that the procedure is almost routine. His reply was that it is routine when it's somebody else but it's personal with me. I've never forgot that because it's so true. God Bless you and your family.

You didn"t see which hospital,but I WOULD ASSUME either Christ OR University,both are excellent hospitals.I WORK FOR THE University and my wife had a kidney transplant at Christ.He will be well taken care of at either one.

Hey,Old Fashioned;I just prayed for your Dad and you and your family.My Grampa had heart surgery a couple years ago and has even amazed the doctors attending to him with his recovery.Our family had a lot of people praying for him and us at that time just like you do now.Isaiah 41:10,13 say's Don't worry,because I am with you.Don't be afraid,because I am your God.I willmake you strong and will help you;Iwill support you with my right hand that saves you....Iam the Lord your God,who holds your right hand,and I tell you,"Don't be afraid.I will help you"

Just a thought. My Mother just got done with 7 blockages this last week.
She went to mayo clinic in Rochester. They recommended open heart surgery to repair.
she went to Methodist hospital in Huston Texas. These guys are the best heart doctors around.
They said Mayo in living in the dark ages when it comes to heart surgery. They were able to repair her heart with the new medicated stints. She was in and out in 2 days. This was after many doctors told her she was not a candidate for stints. Diabetes and over weight.
Secound opinions are worth alot if there is time.

Old fashion, Not sure if you ever make it over to the Farmall page or not. But we post request like this quite often. I love old tractors but if we ever get to the point that we don't allow room for request like this one, I'll find something else to do with my time. My prayers are with you and your Father.

Our heavenly father, I come before you at this time, thanking you for the many blessings that you have given us. I pray father for the one mentioned here. I pray that you would guide the hands that minister unto him and that you would bless him with a successfull procedure. I pray father for the family at this time, watch over them, comfort them and care for them. I pray father for all those others who are sick and afflicted at this time, if it be thy will, restore them too their much wanted health. I pray father for those who are viewers here on this website, as really we are on big tractor family here. I'm so thankfull father for the support and prayers of this site when my dad was in the hospital over the past two years several times. The folks here are special and they care and I ask that you would please bless each one of us and our families tonight. Watch over us, keep us safe, forgive us of our sins and shortcomings and when the day comes bless us with a home in heaven with thee,

I'm glad to add to the supplications of our tractor-loving brethren and sistern. Your dad sure has a lot of good folks pulling for him. May the body be quickly healed and the spirit soothed. Keep us posted.
