With todays fuel prices the old ways may be new again.

Maybe, but how much fuel is an elephant going to consume?

If it's gasoline, I'm betting less than a quart.

Now Rusty, let"s think about this a minute. I been looking for a loader to clear about 100 or so acres down here in the Ozarks, and maybe we"re on to something here. I could get Akmed"s brother in law Hadji to run the thing, it could eat brush on it"s way through the trees, it could deposit organically manufactured fertilizer as it went, the built in compactors would level the ground to help prevent erosion, the auxilary front mounted lifting device would be very good for lifting the trees it uprooted, and I just can"t see the down side.
