Hi Guys,

Cold, miserable, spittin' rain in my face. Tank of fuel cost me something like $80; wife upset 'cause I'm spending on old junk.

Forgot all about the ear protectors and probably won't be able to hear for another week. Face is totally numb and all my limbs are shakin' from the 10 mile road trip. But, I finally got my 966 home.

Happiest day of my life to date.

Allan

and i am sure your wife is happy to hear a tractor beats out your wedding day. although i am not married, i would think my wedding day, when it happens, is a heck of alot more important day then getting a tractor...my two cents

Casey;
You didn't go to that auction east of Castlewood did you? I did for a few hours...and just amazed at what people pay for "scrap metal" (60 JD nose cone for $200)!
Well, I'd best not be taking the shine off Allan's day, so I'll just limp out to the corral with my oat bucket.
Talk w/u later.

yes sir i sure was there. the darn sale bill said TWO flat bed wagons. i get there and there's only one junky one and two really nice ones loaded with small items. i ask the auctioneer before the sale and he says the wagons sell. he clears the wagons off and turns to walk away and i hollor what about the wagons and he says they are not for sale, their the neighbors. man was i pissed!!!!! a whole day wasted. there was a sale south of milbank with some nice wagons on it but i choose this sale cause it was closer. oh well, maybe next time.

Hi Casey,

I'll have to clean 'em up and do that one day; the other two are pretty grungy 'bout now, tho.

Busy fixen all the little "owies" now. Derned 3-point lever clutch needs tightened, re-position the back light, cleanin' that darned tach lens, try to find a way to re-load the bank account, etc., etc. :>)

This afternoon, it turned off hot here too. Should have been a little more patient. :>(

Yeah,

She's beaming from ear to ear.

Just just wants a darned ol' pony. So, if it takes a 966 to get it for her she's all for it. (Boy, I worked that out well, didn't I?). :>)

Me, I ain't sayin nothin. Figured it up, and it cost me more to send yer quarter out to ya than it was worth, so I ain't gonna raz ya one iota about no horseys, dually pickup trucks, 36 ft. horsey trailers with living quarters in them, corals, barns, excercize ring, riding arena, bridles, saddles, horsey blankets, oats, small square bales, small square baler, hay racks, or nothin else. Just wouldn't be prudent. Later buddy, Harley
