Does anyone know if the Farmall 806 came stock with front wheel assist and/or a cab. I'm grateful for and help thanks.

Speaking of 806 drivetrains, I spend quite a bit of time in an 806 with a cab in the 70's. The rear end had a noisy whine, was that common with those?

I had a 706 that sounded the same. I was told by an old IHC mech. that IH used straight cut bull gears in the final drive and though rugged they are loud, whereas Deere used planetary gears that are quieter but according to him less rugged. I don't see many green tractors with torn up final drives.
