Seeking Funk Governor Front Seal

Hello, good people - I've recently acquired a '52 8N with a dealer-installed Funk 6-Cylinder conversion, H series. One really pesky thing I need to fix is the oil seeping through a badly-installed governor front seal (behind the pulley); I've had the governor off and apart, everything looks good - this tractor has a fairly recent engine rebuild, including the governor, but I noticed the seal body was banged up when I had the front casting off. It's not leaking from the governor body mating surfaces, it's where the pulley shaft comes through the seal, but danged if I can find this booger anywhere. Does anybody have a source/part number, PLEASE? The fan and belts are throwing drops of oil all over!

Just about any "bearings and drives" type of shop should be able to match the seal up for you by bore and shaft dimensions.

Or, post them here, and one of us will get you some numbers for a seal that size to take to NAPA or a place of that nature.

Have to admit I hadn't thought of that - O.K., I need to yank that puppy off anyway and pull it apart again. I'll report back later. Thanks for the heads-up, Bob!

O.K., I took some photos of my governor and bad seal to help explain things; the first shot shows the front casting with the seal removed,
and the second shows the damaged seal where it fits on the casting.
The O.D. of the seal measures 35mm/1.378" with my calipers, is approx. 6.42mm/.253" wide, and the hub of the pulley that goes through it measures 22mm, or .866".
I'll be looking around for a replacement, but sure would like to hear from anyone who has already had luck finding a source... Thanks!
