I have recently been experiencing some problems with the Hydraulics on My Massy Workbull 204, The Machine is Making a grinding noise when I am lifing a load or just lifting the loader. The noise goes away when I let Off the hydraulics. The Loader is also really slow. We have had the pump off and taken to a hydraulics man but he said there was nothing wrong with the Pump. I am wondering if it is the Controls ? Any Input would be great, because I have the whole summer I need to work with the beast.

P.S. The rear hydraulics will only lift 120 pounds too.

THe massy works great. I am willing to bet that the 204 will lift just as much as a Brand new John Deere and then some. The massy hasn't been a pain until Now, it has almost 6000 hrs on it and the only thing that has gone wrong up until this point is the Spark Plugs. I would appreciate it if you would not Post a follow up to this chapter of the massys life unless you know what you are talking about. I am not gonna junk it unless the tractor rusts and falls apart. The massy is my baby and it will out power my other W4 (that was just rebuilt might I add) any day Of the week.

I'm guessing the filter is pluged. Should be on the left lower frame rail.
