Price is $900 for a 602 model with a 15 of tower. The fan was decent shape but the fan wobbles bad on the shaft. What do you think?

1000 used is fair might have to pay more with tower and pump you can get a new smaller one for 2-3000 check ebay. i recommend a newre 7-802 aermotor dempster is good and a few others but some are hard to get parts for as they are 75 years old if i can be any help email me. also check them over carefully as they can be exspesive to repair.

Scott, Any where from $400 to $4000. Depending on where you are, availability in your area, condition, Diameter of the wheel, Whether it is a 602 old style or a 702 new style Aremotor. Or wheather it is some other brand of mill.

John A.

I was looking to buy one myself, untill I priced them. They were all $1000.00 and up. I had a friend with one half up, half in scattered pieces on the ground that hadn't run in years, wasen't even sure if it would run, and she wanted more than a $1000.00 for it. Check ebay or do a "buy a windmill search" on the web. You'll see what I mean. Some of those places want upwards of $8000.00 for used rebuilts. All these dealer guys do is buy and sell them for a living. Runs the price up for us little guys.
I hope you get a bargain....means there still hope that us poor folk might get one some day. Let us know what you spend on it if you get it.

Chris, Yes when you get on e-bay and look in the papers folks are quite proud of them. But get off the main roads, sure enough back away from well traveled roads, start looking and they can still be gotten for not mutch of anything. + - 500 to 1000. with the tower. I know a place in San Angelo Texas, that will take your old head, either rework it or exchange it for $500 (price 5 yrs ago) and you have a head ready to go and start pumping water.
These guys selling these old mills at these ridiculious prices are catering to the people who have more money than brains. They want one cause... 'Granddad had one on his farm' Just do some extra looking and you can find one more reasonable. Good Luck,
Later,
John A.
