We had a estate auction down the road "bout 1/2 mile today. I just workded a double night shift and so sent my wife to check things out while I slept. SHE CAME HOME WITH A DUMP TRUCK !! She went and bought a 1968 Ford single axle F-600 dump truck for $50!! It aint been run in a while,is sitting in weeds and the gas is bad but it"s ours. Has a 338 cu, 190hp motor. Anybody know anything about these? She wants to drive it yesterday.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Tomorrow morning, you give her a big hug and kiss for doing good, but don't have to tell her how just how good she did, or even what for. God love her, she did good.

Mark

ODD! Went to a sale on the 15th in SE Nebraska. There was a 59 Ford 600 single axle dump truck on that one. Went for $40 with no motor. Wish I'd bought it! Congrats and have fun!

If I had been at that auction she wouldn't have got it that cheap. LOL Shoot for that price you could cut it up and get 5 times your money back. Just take your time on it, the brakes will be the hardest to fix, I know been there done that on one I sold a few years back. It was a 1969 F-600 with a 390. They make good farm dump trucks. Have fun and never have the bed uo and be under it with out a safety bar to hold it up.

Casey,
Shoot me an e-mail at www.willowbrush2003@yahoo.com. I have a flatbed truck you may be interested in. Used it hauling hay for a few years, sold most of the cows last Spring and have no need for it now.
