So sorry for your loss. I am impressed with your strength! I used to read posts of accidents/casualties and would offer prayer to those that were in need...would hurt for a few minutes and then go on. However, 4 weeks ago tomorrow, my oldest son (23) had an accident on his new motorcycle,(Suzuki Hayabusa - 200 mph bike). For a few days it was touch and go, we didn't know if he was going to make it. While he was critical, I would come home, read this forum and try to relax before getting cleaned up to go back to the hospital. Since the accident, I can't keep from weeping when I read something like your Dad passing. My son was only going 20 to 25 mph... I know because I have ridden bikes all my life, I went to the crash site twice to inspect, he hit a curb and followed that curb around a curve for 50 feet, put his foot down, broke his leg, flipped, and he hit a fire hydrant with his body...internal injuries, removed spleen, broken leg, broken ribs, collapsed lungs, almost lost a kidney, etc. The bike was only scratched. My good news is, tonight he was asking me if I would drive him to work! So everyone's prayers from our surrounding community, our churches, our co-workers, our family, etc., have been answered! I only hope that all the good words, thoughts, and prayers will help you and yours the way they have helped me and mine! The good Lord takes care of us...sometimes in ways that we do not know. I have found so many good people in the world the last few weeks, including those who run, and those who read and write on this forum! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Sorry for the long post...it was just on my heart. Mike
