Did you consider contacting the company first, before spouting off hate and discontent for everything YT represents ("except the forums")? There are no products purposely misrepresented in order to make a sale. Not only is that illegal, it is unethical. We most often use the supplier's description of a product in the item description, unless we find out we need to correct it. If you have received a kit that is incomplete then how about letting YT know? So they can fix the problem? YT is a member of the Better Business Bureau and takes it very seriously. The restocking fee is very lenient and is there to deter people who purchase items with the intent of using them and returning them. Yes that happens. It seems to me that the best action would have been to try to resolve it with the company first instead of coming here and slamming them up against the wall with your accusations. Last but not least, YT is a website that people have put their heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into for many years. Have you tried any of the links on your left? You'll see there is much more there than the forums and a lot of work has gone into them simply to provide resources to a group of people who are highly regarded. If you desire to complain about a particular transaction you experienced in the store, it is your right to do so. But don't condemn an entire website, the company and the people who work hard to keep going in the process.
