I have a JD 4010, JD 3010, JD 950 & MF 265 (all diesel engines) that I will be storing for the winter in the next few weeks. Is there anything I should do to the fuel in the the fuel tank, fuel lines or injection pump? Also any other suggestions - I will be pulling the batteries and storing them in a heated garage on a trickle charger. Thanks, Mike

I don't think you will have too much to worry about as just this year I got a JD 70 diesel that had sat since 1985 ? and was able to get it running by just draining out the old fuel cleaning some crystalized black stuff out of the fuel bowl and first fuel line adding new fuel and firing it up.

If you are in a cold climate and you won't want to use them during winter probably not but to be safe I would add a cold flow improver (antigel) and a biocide treatment . Cheap insurance. Run them if you can then fill the tanks to prevent condesation
