Hey Allan! Haven't seen any posts for a couple days. How's things going with the Mrs.? She should be so lucky! We are spending this week building a special trailer for a friend of mine who ended up paralyzed from the waist down as a result of a horse falling on him. He is working for the NRCS doing some kind of work and needs to haul a JD Gator around . We have to build it so he can get his wheel chair close, get on and off the Gator, and be able to raise the loading ramps. This is going to be a project! But you gotta admire the guy....he's not about to not sit around trying to draw disability.

Yepper,

Sore. Doc told her she would be miserable for two months. We don't heal like we used to. :>)

I know. Those derned critters are bone breakers.

One kicked me and broke three ribs one time, another broke my sister's back, watched my dad darned near get killed comin' off one and an old landlord of mine had a saddle horn put thru the middle of his chest.

Gotta love those horses. Just a heck of a lot of fun, aren't they? :>)

Alan,Glad to see your wife is on her way to recovery. My daughter broke her foot from an accident that was horse related about the same time your wife took a tumble. She will be layed up for about 4 months. Sure puts a cramp in her paramedic job. When she is well I am sure she will be back on that darn horse again, as will your wife. Something about horses and women I could never figutre out. I think I will stick to motorcycles, and tractors.Stan

Hi Allan. Glad you are able to keep your sense of humor through it all. Been thinking of you guys as I lay in the hospital for 6 days. Seems my heart wanted a vacation so decided to shut completely down and leave me next to dead. Was flat line for over 30 seconds then decided to come back for more. So they put in a pacemaker and my little friend is supposed to keep me around for awhile. Wife thought we were about to have a Farmall auction, but I say wait, not so fast dear. Fire sales never seem to work out all that well from what I've seen. Just curious how the alfalfa is doing and if you getting the moisture you need to get a good tough stand before winter? We will gladly share some of our rain from Washington if you are short. Rains about every other day here now for the last few weeks. Oh well, makes the grass grow and sets us up better for the winter. All the best to you and the mrs. Migraine

Doggone it, Migraine!

How come we all is havin' this here heart trouble? Did we live too derned hard when we were young 'er somptin? :>(

Sounds like you are on the mend with your new "regulator". Hang in there..... ..I needs ya around for awhile!

We got an inch and a half a week ago. The spotty stuff is just now thru the ground at two leaves and thick as a carpet. I'd sure like another 10 days before it freezes up to really insure things will take off again next spring.

Stay well, Howard.

Allan

Migraine, trust that hunk of chips. By that I mean when you go to bed, go to sleep and leave the worry to it. Had a ICD for a year and a half now. Go in Tue to check its battery and get a software update. Oh yea, don't get too close to electric welders, but don't worry about most other things.
