Our old engine club ( Northern Michigan Antique Flywheelers ) have a IHC TD 15 crawler. We need some info on this tractor. What weight and type of oil is used in the transmission? Is the flywheel houseing supposed to be wet or dry?
Thank you to any and all that can us the answers to these questions.

I wonder who's right! The manual will answer the questions and is normally the 1st place you would look before tackling one of these units. You'll also find that a lot of the time these questions are better addressed in the "Crawler" forum.

the TH15B is a power shift machine. The transmission uses IH Hy-Trans oil. The bellhousing is wet, as it uses a torque convertor. check the starter, it should have a gasket where the 3 bolts go to the bellhousing to stop leaks. don't put 90wt in the transmission, you will really mess it up. Tractor weighs 15 ton without blade.
