I know about every question there is has already asked about but I wonder what age group most frequents this site. If I were to guess, at least 50% is over 60 including myself.

58...will be 59 in March. Wisconsin. Since I've pretty much stayed exclusively in the Farmall forum, I recognize a few names among these but not too many. It's great though to see the variety of tractor enthusiasts--age-wise and in geography.

56.5 years lived well and fully so far. Stopped smokin' and drinkin' and misbehavin' awhile back in hopes of adding another 25 or 30 more years so I can see my 12, 10 and 7 yr. old kids grow up!

Oh yes, 2 year old and 4 year old plus lots of family lots of places....we do a lot of traveling between Thanksgiving and Christmas.....but my son (4) has told us that the only thing he wants Santa to bring him is a tractor about so big - strangely enough, it is about the size of a 1/16 Ertl product.....hope Santa is listening....and of course sister's response is Me Too..... well, they are both getting dump trucks, don't see why tractors all around won't work too???

Well, I've looked at the whole thing and I think I'm the youngest, 14. I will be 15 on 1-21-05. I really got interested in older tractors and stuff about a year ago but have always loved farming and anything that goes with it. I have 65+ mainly JD toy tractors.

I'll make a stab at being the youngest to reply. I'm 16, turning 17 in April. I'm a bit of a mystery, because there are no other collectors in my family. I got into collecting and restoring tractors completely on my own (well, some mechanical help from Dad). Bought all my projects with money from summer jobs.

Turned 24 about a month ago. Still haven't figured my old john deere tractors out. Grandad could switch out good parts for junk, put in bad spark plugs and run a farm. I put in new parts, rebuild others and still can't get 'em to run lol. God bless.

Dixieland: On average I think they are younger than you think. I have read the entire thread, about what I expected. Just about what expected based on information guys are looking. Not hard to tell when tractor is older than the owner.

I'm 63, will need to live to 100 for all projects I have planned.

The name I use isn't really a reflection of my age its more a reflection of where I learned things from and part of a name from a pony we had. Her name was oldcoal and see was 30 plus years old when we got her but shes diead now

It's very interesting to see such a wide range of "Antique" tractor enthusiasts and their ages. What does make me chuckle a bit is that I, with a few exceptions, have driven most of the subject machines discussed on this forum. They range from a 1927 International, (a K14, I think it was) right up through the TVO Fergies. IH Model "H" with it's retrofitted "P3" engine, Field Marshall and Nuffield's, to where I am today with old JD Dozer and my much enjoyed DEXTA. The K14 was ten years old when I was born, and I enjoy every minute of working with them to this day. Kearns.
