I am in favor of kind of getting away from the whole tractor thing and instead adopting the use of hovercraft to do our business. If you are against this, then you should go back to horse and buggy because it more economical. Thanks. Please campaign for hovercraft by calling attention to this important issue to President Bush.

Only as an auxilliary power supply . And it used the earlier in-line radial version. And, YES your mind is wandering. I saw it go by here less than an hour ago!!!

Jack, Good idea, though not new. THat was one of the major features of the ESSEX TRI DIRECTIONAL TRACTOR. Most readers of this forum are familiar with it.

Actually, with the muddy fall we had here (and now snow), I could make use of said hovercraft, as long as it could support my Gleaner and corn head.

Aloha ejr-IA, I live in Kaimuki, that is on the other side of the mountain. Your uncle lives on the windward side of the island. In fact, I was just there last night visiting a friend of mine.

Actually the use of hovercraft in agricultural applications is not new. In 1919, Dr. R. Herman Knox began to experiment with hovercraft in orchard and grove applications. He was successful enough to get backing to start the Agro-Hover company of California. Agro-Hovers were used mainly in the orange groves because they could keep the air moving during freezing conditions and therefore keep the oranges from freezing on the trees.

The hovercraft is simply a spinoff idea from an engineer that accidently once saw an ETD in an achohol induced haze late one night in the early part of the last century....

The Idea of using Hovercraft in American agrculture is an idea. The subject of the use of hovercraft in agrculture is one which should be fully concidered in a manner that would fully concider the idea of using Hovercraft in agriculture in America. This idea should be given the concideration it deserves. Concideration of this subject is an idea that should be considered in a manner that covers the use of Hovercraft in agriculture in America. Millions, no matter how many ,should and will be spent to consider this idea. I have my best people now in consideration of this idea. No expence shall be spared in consideration of the idea of the use of Hovercraft in agriculture in America.
