Anyone here ever work on one of these? Was Grinding feed today, noticed the mixer wasn't mixing. Looked under it and the shaft that goes in front of the gearbox wasn't turning. About a foot in front of the gearbox is two gears that are held togeather by a roller chain. The gears on the shaft shattered. Looked like there was a lot of rust on the broken part, like it had been going out for awhile. Anyone know the easiest way to replace those gears?

Arts-Way still makes mixer mills. Here is their website with information on their dealers and obtaining parts.

I believe ArtsWay was the company that made GMs for IH years ago- might check with current CNH dealer for parts- although sounds like you just need generic weld-a-sprockets for the shafts, and a double chain coupler. End opposite the gearbox- where does that go? Easy to dismantle? Can you cut the shaft and reassemble with a pipe coupler and two bolts on each shaft? OT- lost your addy, you were interested in a MM grain drill? Have pix to send- let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the easiest way to go is take off the front shaft. Hope thats all thats wrong with it. Oh, it wasn't me looking for the grain drill, sorry.
