I tell ya gentlemen, she's something else. Last night I said how great it would be to drive a tractor in a parade. So she invited me to drive her dad's JD A that she usually drives in her town's parade. In turn, I invited her to come out to the threshing/antique tractor show in my town. She's always likes talking about tractors, and doesn't mind when I whine about high prices for parts. She says she wants to learn more about old tractors, and I said, "You met the right guy, and I think I met the right girl." Only bragging a little bit : )

Have fun with this Girl . ANd when the time Comes look to God for help. and if you and her are able to learn from God and grow. you'll start on a Good foundation, to Builded the rest of your life.

Older lady some 80 + years asked me one time how long have you known this girl, Now my wife. I answered some 6 months or so, she started counting the months, then she said I think you'll be ok. She had found in her family that all of her childern and Grandkids that started talking about or married the person in the first year after meeting them stayed married. The ones that took year to think about it are the ones that have thew most trouble. So I say to you are you and her, or maybe just you for now thinking about the furture, if you are good. If you and her are Great, now fine a Good Church and Go , The bible will teach you your Job and Hers, and yes By the way it is a 60/40 that is 60 percent of the time you have to give in and , 40 she will. Hey Marrrage can be great or HELL you make it or break it. You get what you put into it. God Bless . For now in joy Gods Gift to you a Good friend you can dream abut the furture and Hope for something turely Great!!

That sounds like a great gal. I also have some bragging to do. My wife talked me into the last 2 tractors I bought, tried to talk me out of selling one of them, bought me a nice Legacy bennelli shot gun for our anniversary, loves fishing including ice fishing, packs for me before hunting, and paints the house while I"m hunting. Also brings me food and drink while I"m working on the old ford tractor in the barn. Beat that. All I have to do is listen to her talking all the time and wait for her to come home from her daily shopping trips. Craig

G.F., vs. WIFE in reply to Larry NE IL, 12-26-2005 16:42:18
Dear Tech Support
> >>
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity.
> >>
Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Beer Drinking 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Surfing and Snowboarding 3.6 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall
doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,

Dear Troubled User:
> >>
This is a very common problem about which men are complaining. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an
OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is
also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0.
It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
> >>
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed
to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under "Warnings-Alimony/Child-Support". I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software
augmentation.
> >>
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE
because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command
before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great
program, but it tends to be very high maintenance.
> >>
Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and
Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Pay Bills 4.2. However, be very careful
how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to
launch the program Nag Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only
way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional
software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !
> >>
WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstance, install Secretary With
Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and
will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.
> >>
Best of luck, Tech Support

You've got a very special girl there, but I don't think we have to tell you that. Down South has just been out in the sun too long.

My first girlfriend (in highschool) I found out later was attacted to me because I let her practice driving my '34 Chevy. Put her in a stressful situation, like accidently spilling a couple quarts of oil on her, and see how she reacts.

Don't listen to him. He is just jealous. You have found a girl that is rarer than a ETD. I should be so lucky.

Two basic rules for girlfriends. One, never get a girlfriend who loves horses. You will always be compared to her horse and of course, you probably are going to lose that contest. Two, never hook up with a tractor lover, especially the JD types. You will always be compared to something that their uncle has and of course, that is a losing proposition. My advice, drop her quick and borrow the tractor when you need it.

Of course, I wouldn't have responded if I didn't have first hand experience. And as for that dairy farmer up above here, he's been having some bad dreams lately.

Cant be sure, you havent given us pictures or extensive imformation needed to make a final judgment. However a good exit strategy should be thought through. If George W would have only asked on this sight.

1 thing... HOOVER was from Iowa (only when he was running for office)

2 GET AN EXIT Strategy-- my tractor loving girlfriend just keeps jumping in and out of my life never can trust her and only calls when she needs a tractor worked on or part. Horse girlfriend only wants me when the horse needs hay or the barn cleaned out. Softball girlfriend could careless about me untill she needs a new drag built for the diamond or an extra guy to fill out the co-ed team.

SOOOOO . if she can get past the one item connection your on the right track.. but if its just one thing bringing you together... RUN NOW!
