Have you noticed how some keyboards can't print capital letters? And some can't print lower case letters? Strange.

I took typing in high school, but after my army service, and the loss of my right index finger tip, i find it difficult to type like i learned in school, so i got into "hunt and peck", which usually works out fairly well. Sometimes, i forget CAps!, but you all get the message anyhow! Rustyj

You might want to check the modulator valve. I had an old ford that wouldn't shift till I changed it. GWB

I never use the shift key. I just type in low gear.

Oh boy, do I agree with every one here. I have a collage education and have taught electronics----BUT I CAN'T SPELL. some thing in my brain. This is one of the few places in the world where I feel at home. There are one or two here who use capitol letters and it perturbes me until I tell myself that just "maybe" they are close to blind and I welcome their input. One fingure or not, I am glad they are here. What a nice bunch of people.....

I try not to be critical of people's lack of language or typing skills. I had a mechanic that once worked for me who wrote things like gas peddle and mudd flaps but he really knew his trade. I had a brother who barely got through 8th grade and could hardly read (nowadays he would have been diagnosed with dyslexia)but when it came to common sense and mechanical savvy, he would put many an educated man to shame. That's the way I see it! The world would be a better place if we all "tried to be a little more understanding".

Brian

Had a neighbor boy who got injured in a farm accident. This gave him a sort of speech defect and I dont know what else. But he could look at a cow and say whether she would calf that night or not.

I agree with jimout. The average age of posters I believe would be over 50 and current or ex grease monkeys. If you are like me a post like this could take ovedr 20 miinutes as it is a hunt and peck operation. We didnt grow up with computers. I can neverk remember how to copy and paste into htat microsoft works program and hten i am always switching back and forth. As long as you can read it be grateful for the free wisdom that has come from years of being in the field and the advice that we wish we would have known and probably saved us solme time and money.

Some people have no pride and don't complete their paper work in the bathroom either.

I also find that my keyboard has developed a strange habit of moving letters from place to place as I'm typing. It seems that this started shortly after I started wearing bi-focals!!

I've noticed that and it is much more common than I had originally thought.
I've also noticed some computers apparently don't have spell check..... ..... ....
