$1.25 to $1.50 per mile is nuts. Some of these guys think people are born under a rock. They want to pay for their rig on the first couple of runs. I have tractors hauled out of the Texas Panhandle to Western, Pa. It is about 1600 miles and I pay between $500 & $550 per 3 ton tractor. Post a note on the Hauling Board someone will be going that way.

Simple it's about 16-1700 miles figure with fuel still being high around 1.25-1.50 per mile nothing is cheap right now post this on a load board at a local truck stop and you may get a better rate from an owner operator heading back that way
