I'am currently installing a turbo on my IH 766 with the D-360. It is all stock internally. The turbo came off of a DT-360. What would be a good horsepower for this engine without hurting a piston. I plan on hooking it to a dyno while turning up the pump. I would like to get around 140 or so but that may be too much for it since it doesn't have the cooling jets to the pistons. Thanks!

Ya had better put a pyrometer on it and your going to wish you had oil squiters on the pistons . I can see a Chinia Syndrom comming on this one . And future clutch problems . But hey what do i know might as well go for 180

If you want 140hp for farming, why don't you just upgrade to a 1466. A 1466 is 140hp bone stock is already turbocharged and it will produce very reliable power for you from it's DT436. They are cheap too.
