I have a 1969 bolens 1053 that came from the factory with no hydrolics. I'm not sure about pullies, predrilled holes,or bracket\belt spacings. Can anyone tell me if my tractor can be converted over to have hydrolics?

Thank you.

i have an older bloens that i have added hyd to. there is two extra sheves on the motor for add ons. i used a power steering pump and 1 inch cyl from the frame to the lever. i mounted the control valve on the dash. works great. i can stand on the mower deck and it will lift me. i have a bad back and needed it to pull the tiller up. later models had hyd on them. maybe you can get one of them . check your mtd dealer. wally

Wally Thank you for the very useful information! You seem to be very handy with a good mind for options. Did you build your own control valve? If so could you tell me how.Once agin thank you TCS68
