We got one week to figure something out and get it right. What are your ideas. Remember we're just visitors here and it's a family website so keep it clean.

I got my wife a set of floor mats for her car for our anniversary. I had already given her a new toaster for Christmas. What else could she possibly need? One year I gave her a new Browning shotgun for her birthday. My friends warned me that that was a mistake. So far, so good though. Will keep my fingers crossed.

How about a pair of tickets to a concert or show? And sometimes the gift certificate to the Massage Store hits the spot..... ...31 years in the game..... ....

Last year I gave my wife of one year a freshly painted Massey Ferguson 135. She absolutely loves it - she plows the snow when there's only a few inches, and keeps the fields mowed all summer long. It took 3 times to get it right, but a farm girl is the only way to go.

I usually get the Mrs a new filter and a case of oil so she doesn't have to make a run into town before she changes her van's oil. Fram makes a nice bright red filter so I don't even have to wrap it up.

Not a dificult question as long as you have good comunications. I was very fortunate to have such good comunication. My ex-wife TOLD ME IN HER EXACT WORDS that she wanted something in the driveway that would go from zero to 160 in less than six seconds--or SHE WOULD DEVORCE ME ---Can't go wrong if she gives you a clue like that! I got it and a scales wasn't real all that expensive anyway. DIVORCED Dave NE IA

I can't speak for the other gals, but a nice quiet evening with no phone calls or working on "RED" sounds good to me, maybe throw in a bubble bath and a massage. And a glass of wine. Yup that would do it!!!!

Since I'm in Korea and she's in New Mexico. I guess she'll have to be happy with the red roses that I have ordered to be sent to her at work. Maybe next Valentines Day I will be close enough to be able to do something more.

Have a buddy with the "perfect" wife. I don't know what she might want for Valentines day, maybe something a little more romantic, but for her birthday she expressed a desire for a deuce-and-a-half with a dump bed to use around the farm. She also supports and encourages his passion for rock crawlers and building them, and likes to go 4-wheelin'. Did I mention she's also young, blond, cute as a button, and has a great personality..... ..Unfortunately she doesn't have a twin, I already asked...It's enough to make an old'er' man cry.....

Our 35th anniversary is on Feb. 12, with Valentines day close behind. We leave for Hawaii on the 17th for a week. Maybe you're looking for something a little more subdued.. .

Get it right fellows. If not yet, sooner or later she will be helping you do everthing you do including helping you in and out of your wheel chair, and she will eventually decide which nursing home lyou go to.

That is easy - she woudl love a new angle grinder that would maybe remove paint for her or a new chainsaw - she will probably get neither - same as every other year

No Valentine's for us this year. Did our taxes and Uncle Sam decided our money would be better spent elsewhere. On another note, due to budget cuts the light at the end of has been turned off indefinitaly.

My wife likes live flowering trees. Timing is about right for her to be able to plant the things.

Maybe some exercise videos and a years membership to the local health club, what better way to say I love you and want you around in years to come, right fellas?. In seriousness, this idea might just work if you buy yourself a membership as well and say "look what I bought us", and "heres to our health", and you'll probably be able to snag yourself the couples discount that most gym or martial arts schools offer.

"And get it right"????? ? What am I super man? I do the cooking so taking her out would be my treat. I used to have a flower shop so flowers are un-origional. Chocolates are sure to spark a weight issue arguement. Lacey drawrs better be to small. A card best be read carefuly before purchased (I actually have a friend that gave his wife a lovely V-day card that said "From the Both of Us" inside. He was in the dog house for the better part of a year) Best I can come up with is to make sure the toilet lid gets put back down and I let her watch "Dancing with the Stars".

For 25 years I've bought a single red Rose. No complaints yet. When my daughters were small, they got a single pink carnation. They came to expect it every year. Now they are 21 and 18, they now get a single red rose as well. They love the tradition.

Here's a novel idea....a few years ago my wife came upstairs screaming the toilet in our basement had backed up all over. This was on Valentine's Eve. The next morning we dug up the lid to the 'ol septic tank to find the whole tank pretty much collasped. So we put a new and improved tank in that day and that was her present, and she has used it every day since. It's kinda like my plumber says... a flush beats a full house every time!
