I have an 861 with remote Hydraulics. You can hook a cylinder to the quick couplers. I have a wood splitter with it's own valve and want to know how the return oil from the splitter will get back to the resivoir if I hold the valve on the tractor open to feed the splitter valve If someone could tell me where to get info on the tractor valve and how it functions I might be able to figure it out The tractor service manual doesn't cover the remote valve so I am assuming it is an opotion

Don't you just hook up the 2 hoses to the 2 remotes you have, & good to go? You tie the tractor lever up (or down) and the oil curculates through the system, when you use the lever on the wood splitter it stops the curculation & 'uses' the oil to the cylinder.

Or does your tractor only have a single-acting remote, just one hose? That's rare around here, think you need to run the oil into the fill hole then with a hose. Be careful of foaming from air bubble splashing, etc.
