Not very well on the clutch popping, _unless_ you have a tractor with live pto. The snow blower will stop & plug up, or the shear pin will bust, or it will not feed in crusted snow, or..... . It just won't work worth a darn. What tractor is it, how many rear gears do you have, how slow does your tractor go? If you have a _very_ slow reverse possible then it might work out - if you can go slow enough. If you have an N with the fast reverse - just forget about it. Snowblowing is the absolute worst thing to try to do without live pto. Baling hay is near the top as well, but the flywheel of the baler makes it possible, if you are quick shifting & get realy, real good at double clutching. It's not fun baling, but possible. Snowblowing is much worse without live pto..... Does not work with a snow blower. Not at all. I like the comment above, it is something a politician would dream up. ;) The 'top link' on the 3pt hitch typically is sold as standard with a new tractor, but they get lost or kept along the way. You can get one (there are 3-4 different lengths, understand which one you need, depends on your tractor) from most any tractor/farm supply store. The 'over running coupler' mentioned is for heavy implements that act like a flywheel. Without live pto, whwn you push in the clutch, the implement attached to your pto will spin down slowly, continuing to move your tractor. The ORC will prevent this dangerous thing from happening. It acts like a great big socket wrench, allowing the pto to spin free in one direction. It slips onto your tractor pto shaft, and so most implemts you own will need to have their pto shaft shortened. --->Paul
