Frankly, I'm clueless when it comes to Oliver machinery. However, from my time at the local Case-IH dealership, I know a thing or two about Front Wheel Assist tractors. 1. Check for oil in the front hubs. Some people don't think they have to check it, so they unknowingly let them run dry. The damage can get pretty ugly in there. 2. Look for twine wrapped around the axle near the front hubs. This is probably the leading cause of broken seals, leading to oil leaks. Had one tractor in the shop that was close to losing one of its front wheels. I'm not kidding, it was wobbling that bad. Took it apart, and there was just dust in there, no oil. Had to rebuild that whole hub, right to the kingpins. 3. I'm not positive on this one, but maybe check the front differential oil. I haven't seen a lot of trouble there, but better safe than sorry. If those three criteria check out, the front drive should be good. I hope that helps you. As far as Oliver-specific info, others will know more than I do. Specter
