Why is it that you find a decent tractor and the dealer has taken the front suitcase weights off?? Am I the only person who wants a tractor to be able to work with all 4 wheels on the ground??? I was always taught that weight meant traction.

By now I thought that everyone knew that extra parts that are on the tractor are >>>FREE<<< whereas anything that can be stripped from the tractor and replaced with something cheaper, like a wfe to nfe, or removed outright like weights, toplinks, pto shields, sometimes fenders, can be sold on the side for beau coup bucks!

I keep waiting for owner's manuals to be sold separately!

Like NEW_GEN said ,"its the free enterprise system" If you know he has them, tell him to include them in the price you offered,if he won't ,leave him your # and leave. There's tractors everywhere, put as much effort into shopping as you do earning the money to pay for it!

It"s called the "Free enterprise system". It"s his tractor, his weights, and if you want a tractor with weights, buy a tractor with weights..or buy some weights to add to your tractor....

Around here they take them off so they can sell them seperate. Make you pay more for the weights that were on tractor when it came in.

I work for a dealer and I see alot of tractors that the customer has taken off the weights before they traded it in.
