I can't get my tractor started without a little shot of starting fluid. I know it's not good to use. Anything I could look at to check. it's a 2 cylinder diesel.Once it starts the rpms kind of go up and down. It takes a little to get it to settle down.

It has glow plugs. How do I heat with the glow plugs. I bought it used and don't have a manual. It has 2 keys. The one on the right turns on the ignition and lights. The one on the left turns the starter.

Visit Tractorbynet.com and go to the Iseki section. There are several folks there that sell manuals and parts. I don't think your two switch setup is original and the glow plugs may not be hooked up.

Anyway, get operator and shop manuals and you can figure it out.

Thanks I'll get one. I did figure it out. The left key turned to the left heats up the plugs and to the right it starts right up.

On my Ford 3 cylinder diesel you turn the key backwards and hold until an indicater on the dash turns red about 15 to 45 seconds depending on the temp.
It could be on either switch but is most likey spring loaded to release so you don't leave it on. And look for an indicater or gauge.
