Went to a consignment auction w/ a buddy this weekend. Market seemed down a little. He came home with a nice Ford 2000 w/ a Freeman loader with a heathouser for $4200, and a nice 4' woods rotary mower for $125. i watched a 6' landpride finish mower sell for $425, and have been kicking myself since. There was also a 4020gas NF synchro in running condition-it was used on an auger last harvest, but needed paint an a few other small items that sold for $2600.

was in amish country so it was the first time i saw a 4020, a 5600ford, and a 730 on steel

The 856 at Osky was a 856 Standard. (Wheatland) It was in excellent condition. I did not see the 1953 SH sell? Did anyone catch the price?

Be nice to your rat friends. Feed 'em. The smell usually goes away after just a few days.

Yes I was there and I should have bid on the H.
The 4020 actually brought 2750 but you were close.
It came from our local coop and for the money it was an OK buy.
You could part it out at that price and make money on it.
I live about 20 miles sraight north of there as the crow flies.

I don't know. Never had it ice up with gas. I think the e85 has a differant vaporization point cooling the intake charge more, causing more icing. This was in 90* weather

Where was that auction?
Wondering if it was the same one I was at.
But I didn't see the tractors on steel there.
But maybe you saw them along the way.

They weren't for sale, the 5600, and 730 were north of the sale barn, and i saw the 4020 west of town a ways.
