my Dad bought a New Holland tractor and when he stepped up on the step for the first time, the step broke and he hit the ground, hard, and he is 70. Has anyone else had this problem or one similiar or heard of someone else who has had this type of problem? This company is not very reasonable or compassionate. Thank You

I would be curious to know the model and year, and whether or not it has a cab. It's hard to make a fair comment without knowing what it's on....

My neighbor purchased a new New Holland tractorAbout two years ago. Around 50 H.P.He seemed to like it.I did not.I was asked to move it so I stepped up on the step.and wes very suprised when the step bent under my weight,( 185 # ).I thought maybe it was made by Continental Can Co. in Japan.Other features on tractor did not win my support.

I find it hard to believe any company wouldn't stand behind their product. You didn't tell us if this was a new tractor or one that the step had been damaged on nor did you tell us how much your father weighs? I'd like to hear the whole story?

Believe it, N Cowman!! I bought 2000 Ford Ranger that was a lemon from the get-go. To this day, FoMoCo has not admitted that there was anything wrong with it, much less fixed it! I finally traded it off! I am a lifelong Ford owner but that was about enough to make me change brands!!

Did he buy it new with an exsisting warranty?
