Anyone know how to take the front pulley off the crank on a farmall A. I have one that is stuck I think, I tried a puller and could not get it to budge.

Yes sir. You need a special tool(bracket) that goes behind the pulley and a heavy duty puller to pull on on the bracket or you will break the lower pulley.

Seems like I just posted a picture of puller that I made to remove the pulley from my son's SC, same engine.

Here is what I made to remove son's lower pulley. HTH

You can use hydraulic jack, base against the 2X2 tubing (there are some bottle jacks that will work laying on their side)

There is no set screw. Go to the farmall page and do a search on the front pulley subject. There are several postings showing the way to pull it off. DO NOT USE A THREE PRONGED WHEEL PULLER YOU WOLL BREAK THE CAST PULLY. Do the search.

There should be a set screw with a jam nut on it you will need to remove. Then it should come off with a three jaw puller. It may take a little elbow grease, the last one I did was really on there.
