I hung out two loads of wash this morning and just brought it in. My alfalfa is way too dry to bale so I'm doin' clean-up around the yard. there is no lawn to mow. So anyway, the question is, Would anybody be willing to trade a couple weeks of excelent haydrying weather for some wet drizzle? I'll give you 2 to 1.

Just finished planting soybeans on Friday, had the rented farm left to do, as the rest were finished around May 10. The rented farm was flat and wet and no tile, but as it turned out it got wetter before it got drier. The first planted beans are poking out of the ground. Yup, good ol' haying time. I got my round baler laying in parts in the shop so no haying for me for awhile, but our hay is about 2-3 weeks out yet anyway. Had plenty of rain this spring, but now with the sun and wind it has dried out nicely but the newly planted beans will need a rain to get them going.

No help here. Right now 90 degrees. Total rainfall for the year -yes year- is 1.75 inches. I've got a spot in the back yard about 10 foot across that I try to keep green for my chair.

I've been wanting to get some hay cut down but for the last couple weeks we have had a shower at least once a day here. I have all the tractors hooked up and ready to go but with it raining here every day I can't cut any of the hay down. You can come down and if you have a good sky hook you might be able to tow the rain up your way, but I would want you to tow it back in a month or so LOL

Cowman, you better get a hurry on that sky hook its at it again and all. Sort of makes it hard to get the roof back on the building that got blew off back in march. Plus its not Saturday night yet so its not time for my shower LOL

Well then come on down and get it, just be sure you have a real good sky hook, wouldn't want you to loose it on the way back up to where your taking it LOL
