The market must be pretty weak on these 6420's. I see one just got listed on eBaby, and is at a bid of around $2000...and the shipping is only a buck fifty...and if you buy an additional item, you just add a nickle for shipping. You can't beat a deal like that.

Apparently I don't understand Ebay well. A few years ago was a Massey 1130 just over in Ohio. I registered on Ebay and watched it a couple of days. Got up to around $4K. About 15 mins before bidding ended, I started bidding. Went from around $4K to over $7K with a few snaps of the fingers just by myself, and still wasn't enough. I backed off since I didn't hit the reserve. I got the sense that just because you see a number out there, doesn't mean much. I could be wrong. I look from time to time, but never played Ebay again after that. Saw a fairly nice '70 4520 Deere start out at around $10K and at bidding's end was over $20K and still didn't go, or hit the reserve. I figure for $10K had better be a real nice 4520, and it was. For $20K, my butt's in a hammick drinking lemonade and watching it work by itself. Acually, I think the owner was just trying to show it off because it appeared for the same ritual a month or so later, same owner.

We just had a couple of John Deeres with cab and air, 45 horsepower sale in our area for $4500. It turns out that someone had stolen 2 tractor trailer loads of small John Deeres from the factory in Augusta Ga. Once it came out in the local paper 4 of these tractors were sent back to the sheriffs dept.
