Great uncle passed a few months ago, last of the family line, so the kinfolk are selling the 370 acres that"s been in the family for over 100 years. I"m not in line for any of that $$ but said I could have what I could haul out :O)

I went down yesterday and took a look around, nearly a century of machine history out on that farm...way too much for me to do much with. The property is going to be put on the market pretty soon, but I"d like to try to sell some the stuff to enthusiasts rather than having it sold for scrap.

Here"s a link to a bunch of pics I took yesterday, www.pbase.com/whit2/farmfinds
I plan to keep some of the automotive stuff, I"m building a "50"s style Jalopy from a bunch of the parts I"ve found out here, but the tractors and implements are likely all available (I"ll have to double check with some of the extended family on the less-rusty stuff)

The farm is located about halfway between Houston and San Antonio. I"m thinking if I can get a little interest it would be nice to get a few interested folks to show up at on the same day with trucks, trailers and tools and a little $$ and have at it...

Email me if you"re interested, it"s going to have to be a pick-and-pull type affair as the farm is ~90 miles from home and shipping would probably be really expensive...

If you can have what you want then grab up all those JD tractors and that crawler for sure. The rest isn't worth much.

Nice collection of old iron. That truck is actually an early 20"s Model T with the worm drive rear end.

Maybe talk to some local auction companies, see what they say about holding an auction out there. Hopefully you can find an auctioneer that has some experience with antique equipment, and can tell you wheter it would be worth while to hold an auction.
