Anybody know how long it takes to deliver a package from via internationl economy from the USA to Vancouver B.C. Canada?
the postal service says 4-6 weeks...but I think that is for Germany, italy, etc where a ship is used...this could be trucked all the way?

I'm in Winnipeg. I buy quite a bit on ebay. I usually get it in 7 - 10 days from date of shipment. Only rarely has it taken more than 2 weeks. UPS will get it here in 3 to 5 days but their brokerage charges are terrible. Post office charges $5.00 to clear. Postal service is the way to go if they can handle it.

I have purchased many items from Canada.(to the USA.) It generally takes about 3 weeks to get here. So I would guess the going to Canada would be about the same. Something to due with customs? Have used mail service where possible. Costwise it seems to offer just as fast service as the commerical deliveries.

I've bought tractor manuals on ebay from sellers in Canada. Sometimes they get here in a week, sometimes 2 weeks, but once I had one take 8 weeks to find its way here from the land of the North. It seems to be hit and miss.

Hi, I've had boxes of wheels shipped from the central US to Richmond - they always seem to quote 2-4 weeks, but they come in 1-2.
Stick with the Postal Service, it is much cheaper than the couriers and just as fast for ground service.

I've mailed a few things, and it took from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on mail load. There is a one to one and a half week delay in it's going through customs.

I had a package come from North Carolina to Edmonton Alberta in 4 days, not a scratch on it. Another package from Indiana by courier right to my yard in a week.
