We need rain badly. Hadnt had a drop since mothers day, then it was scarce even. Crucial for us making a bean crop, setting pods now, or some hay to feed next winter with sudan and millet. Temp forecasts for the next week are 100-102 every day. Lows about 73-74, but that doesnt stay there long.

Send a prayer for us.

i hear ya, tex aggie. i'm not far from you in waller county and it's as dry as i've ever seen it here. what little rain we do get, boils away in no time under the hot texas sun. we been in a droughty condition since last fall and the outlook is not good. just about to give up on hay baling already this year because of the drought. nothing to cut and what little there is is of very poor quality. meybe it will be better next year. we live in hope.

I know you folks in Texas and Oklahoma have had it tough with the drought, Here in Missouri we have been blessed with some out standing grass hay this year, more than we can use. I was wondering if their was any way that we could sell hay in your area, be fair eliminate the middle man pay for trucking and not loose our shirts?

I live in the K.C. area lots of mixed clover fescue brome and timothy I could get you loaded for $20 per bale, now this is not just my hay but also friends and neighbors. Probably get some alf alfa worth the money also, this belongs to the neighbor, can get it for $3 picked up off loaded wagons.

Been watching them come off the mountains in NM this way last few days but none hold together long enough to do much. Barely sprinkled here today and it was gone.

We have only had 2 inches of rain here in Georgia since 1st of March. Of that the most was 1/2 inch.
