No, that's the rub.

In it's present incarnation, it received a combine 301 engine, so no sleeves. Luckily, there is a lot of life left in the ol' gal.

Thinkin' pretty seriously 'bout doing an inframe on 'er since I've got it pulled down this far anyway.

You really did a number on that gasket didn't you. Hope you didn't run it long enough to cause other problems, that one is bad enough

Alan, check out that exhaust valve on the left. Unless I'm wrong it looks like a hot spot coming on.

Started missing yesterday. I went ahead and finished my mowing on the patch I was on, but sure didn't have any power.

I ran it about 20 minutes on four cylinders and opened it up this morning.

That will do it every time. I bought a Ford one time, with a couple dead cylinders. I thought I could just replace the head gasket. It was rus so long blowing back and forth between cylinders a agrove was cut in the block between the cylinders. I had to replace the motor. Stan

Keith, as I said I would leave here at 2PM well I just got back at 10:30 form working on my friends farm, and tomorrow I have to go back but have to fix a broken part in the morning before I do. As I said I have to many dos to be doing LOL
