As I get ready to leave tomorrow to go and get Dave's 300, I looked in the barn last night. Just to see where it will fit inside.
How do you folks sell this old iron?
Everytime I get one running and cleaned up...I get attached to the stuff. I get a lot of offers...but I have an awful time selling one...just hate to let go after bringing them back to life.
What's your secret? I am running out of space.
Guess Allan is right...I must be sick.

I have bought some, Sold some and some will have to be pried from my cold dead hands.

Usually when I figure that I won't get around to doing anything with a tractor it is time for it to hit the road. Makes me feel better it has gone to a better home (cash in the pocket doesn't hurt either).

Occasionally I will buy one with the intention to resell but that is rare. They need to be bought right and need very little fixing.

Best solution is to build a bigger shed LOL.

Bill,

I'm pretty sure what we're supposed to do is play with 'em 'til we're done then park 'em out in trees.

Then, someday the next generation will come along and start the process all over again. :>)

Yep, my wife and I continue to drag old stuff home. One of these days our children and grandchildren will have their hands full dividing up what they want to keep, and setting up the auction to get rid of the what they don't want. I have a feeling that most of it will go on the auction.

Well...my will says a friend has first pick since he has a farm. Never had any children. Lady of the house could care less about them.
Guess the rest are up for grabs.
I have both red and two shades of green for the most part. The Case is the odd ball.
I have been trying to get a few for parts...but I like to try and get them running when I can...then hate to part with them.
Nothing better than to hear an engine run that was thrown in a fence row 40 years ago.....
