Have a tractor that has nameplate on front says: McCormack-Deering. The serial plate says International: There's a "W" then the numbers: 2755---can anyone tell me what I have here??
Are there any other markings I should be looking for---??
Appreciate any info at all--Thanks

Yeah, look closer. I think there should be at least one more letter after the W. W30 is "WB" Most others use 3 letters. Is it an open radiator tractor or covered by tin work? Wheatland style or narrow front row-crop?

The radiator has a grill in front of it, but the radiator cap is exposed---
The serial label has two "W"s" , spaced quite a ways apart from each other, followed by the numbers: 2755.These three items are embossed or engraved, so are readily legible and easy to identify---the rest is very vague and hard to distinguish. There are other words on it but hardly legible--such as "international" and "chicago".

W Series yes. Here is a W4 IH also made a W6 and W9 both gas and diesel versions. The W4 was the smallest one using the same engine as the Farmall H.

What im saying is right after the first W there should be a number, 4 6 or 9.Like (W4,W6) the second W should be followed by 2 letters (liike WBH, WBK) then the numbers. Does it look anything like the pic NB posted?
