Got 10 acres of oats left to cut, & the fuel pump is running out fuel in a constant stream out the 'leak holes'. Obviously the diaphram is rotted through. It's a round pump, lever activated, even has a manual finger pumper on it. I took it apart, & the diaphram is connected to the lever in the middle of the pot metal. How do I disconnect the diaphram from the lever? Lever is all riveted togother so it won't follow through after the diaphram; they must disconnect somehow but no room to get in & do so? Then, will I even be able to get a diaphram any more for this old cast iron engine? It goes way back, actually dad got it off an old Woods corn picker, put it on the swather. Magneto; no charging system on this, tho I do have a 6v battery riding along to run the starter a few times. So, electric conversion would be messy, I'd just like to figure out the diaphram pump? --->Paul
