Hey y'all,I got lizards in my shop and a few running around the outside of the house trying to get in. They're not harmful, but like mice are pests. I guess they could be destructive, I just don't want the things in my area. Anybody had this kind of problem before. Is there bait available to exterminate them. I got dcon out but they won't touch it. Those things are sneaky.

Now Rich, you could hide and wait till the right time to catch them. My son tries that with the cat sometimes. (course it has not worked yet, maybe we need to work on his hiding skills)

Are little guys? Maybe they are Anoles(?). They sell them in pet stores. You may have money trying to get in your shop. They eat crickets.

GET SOME OF THE STICKY PEST CONTROL PADS AND PUT SEVERAL OUT AND THEY WILL GET ON THEM AND THEN YOU CAN DISPOSE OF THE LIZARDS, ALSO GOOD FOR MICE, CRICKETS, OR ANY THING THAT MOVES.

Guess you're one of those "if it moves kill it" kind of "guys", eh? I'll put you on the list with the guy a while back who wanted to kill all the mourning doves that cooed in the morning.
Perhaps a condo would be a better solution. They can only improve your condition if you have the right attitude. Rural living ain't for everyone.

Been on the farm all my life dude, I plan on chopping down a few trees this weekend. So now are lizards on the endangered species list?

Probably one of those migrating north to south species,we have a problem with that in this area.

You could put a picture of one in the window with a circle around it and a line through it. It seems to work at truck stops.

Thats a good one Bill. Old truck stop near town long time ago use to have this waitress nicknamed wrinkles. Man if you ever saw her you and your dreams would vanish.

The lizards aren't destructive and eat bugs, which is why the D-Con probably won't work for you. The best way to solve the problem would be to seal the building, which may not be easy to do with a freestanding shop and most barns.

Our cat catches them (sometimes - they're pretty quick little buggers). We've had lizards living in a rock wall outside our house for years and have never had a problem with them getting into the house or garage. You might try several of the glue traps for mice placed near locations the lizards frequent.

For the larger lounge lizards, that would be outside of bars and nightclubs. While your at it, see if you can off that annoying insurance gecko on TV.

On your tv remote there should be an off switch. When gecko appears, just push off switch.

Good morning.

Saw this Charles Bronson movie once, called "Mr. Magestilizard", and in the middle of the night they kept stealing his watermellons and hiding them in his combine, after joy riding his tractor and ford pickup. Made him pretty mad too, so mad he couldn't drive a straight line or keep his pickup on the road hardly. Pests, I guess.
