Hi guys
Thanks very much for the info, just went over to see him, seems he had it hooked up in series and couldn't understand why the lights where so bright!! LOL. He swears it only has one short jumper cable so dont know how it was hooked up when he (recently) bought it. We tried hooking up just one battery to MH cables but nothing works, any reason for this ? Both new batteries are showing about 14v.
Thanks again, JJ.

My Pace Arrow motor home has 12V cranking battery and 12V coach battery seperated by a isolator for charging and has a relay to connect them in parallel for emergency starting from the coach battery. Each battery has pos-neg cables with the jumper connecting the neg posts of both batteries together.

If they are 12 volt batterys and theres more then one, they hook in PARALELL Pos to Pos and Neg to Neg and BOTH terminals need to be connected to be using BOTH batterys.

You mention 1 short cable - there should be two used as jumpers (1 pos to pos and 1 neg to neg). Mine are red and black same as "house" cables.

12V batteries go parallel.
Neg. of batt. #1 to neg of Batt. #2 to neg cable to M/H.
6V batteries go in series.
Neg. of batt.#1 to pos. of batt. #2
M/H cables to remaining posts pos to pos & neg to neg.
