I have recently bought an IH 606 with loader. I want to bush hog with a 7 foot hydraulic. How do I use hydraulic implements with the loader? Obviously I can't have the loader raising and lowering while I use the rear implement, do I need to disconnect the loader somehow?

Do SCV valves control loader on your tractor or does loader have indepedent valve? Is cutter 3pt. or drag? Need answers to help. Tx Jim

Thanks Jim. What is SCV? I do have two valves in the rear that are seperate from the valves being used in the front for the loader (4 in front.) The cutter is drag.

Jim

If you have one pair of ports in the back and two pair in the front do you have three hydraulic levers or just two?

I assume you have two levers.

If the ports in the back are on the same lever as your bucket, not boom, you could just unhook the hoses to the bucket up front and then you will just control the ports on the back.

Now if the port on the back is with the boom ports, cut two channel irons the lenght you need to keep the loader the height you want when mowing and put them over the cylinder ram to block the loader in the air.

Let the cylinder down on the channel stops and unhook your hoses to the boom and now you can control your mower.

Hope this makes sense. If not ask. Gary
