In that time-frame, the blocks would be the same, and even the heads between the turbo and non turbo. The indentifying block casting number will be at the upper left rear of the block, behind the LH cylinder head. You can compare numbers, and see if they match. About 1997, or so, they drilled more oil passages in the block, and installed piston cooling nozzles, and for a couple of years in that time-frame, the blocks were MORE prone to cracking, because the extra oil passages weakened them. Think twice before buying a block of that era. WHATEVER block you buy, have it Magnafluxed before purchase, or have it in writing that you can get your money back, if it turns out to be cracked, or otherwise unusable. The current production replacement engines, made after that series, are a higher nickel contact cast iron, and have been made heavier in critical areas.
