which one would you buy for pulling ? both have 340 cubic inch , both are built up , farmall alittle heavier , both appear to be about the same on paper , which would you prefer and why ?

HEY DAVE , IF ITS A 340 CUBIC FARMALL M , ITS BEEN BORED TO 4.25 , STROKED TO 6 INCHES , HAS A 450 HEAD ( SHAVED 80 THOUSANDS ) STOCK VALVES , W-9 CARB ,ELTRONIC IGN WHAT WOULD YOU GUESS ITS MAKING FOR HORSEPOWER ? I M GUESSING 100 - 110 , WHAT DO YOU THINK AND OR ANYONE ELSE ?

If the Massey is a bit lighter you may be able to pull in some of the lighter classes that the M can not get into. Another thought, Farmall Ms are abundant, Massey 44s not so abundant, the Massey might be more interesting.

I think the 444 massey would be a better puller than the 44. the farmall can have a torque amp the massey 44 doesn't. just some thoughts
