Mornin All,

Have any of you fine Gentlemen or Ladies ever seen plans for a miniature baler that makes those cutsie little straw bales that you see at fairs and craft shows.

We are right in the middle of this years pumpkin sales and a whole lot of folks have been asking for them. We have a cheap supply of straw available and thought we could help the bottom line by making and selling them during our sales days.

Most of the balers I have seen at the fairs are works of art and something to watch. We just need something mechanically able to make the bales. Pretty is not a priority.

I have come up empty doing Internet searches.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Santa

I was interested in one also until I saw the price. A 1/2 h.p. motor and pulley for $500. I'm in the wrong business.

Seeing the price those small hay bales bring, it would be economical to go buy large bails of hay, break them down, rebale them in the small bales and make 1,000% profit.

If your talking about the foot long bales, try ebay. There are a few balers that I have seen on there.
