Would you mind not saying your done with beans again for a while? Most we can get is 2 days in the field with out rain. If the next 1000 acres goes like the first 500 I'll still be cutting in March. Still a bunch of green beans around here from being replanted late from the spring rains. Hard cutting , taking half again more fuel. Most farms have area's that drown out or were stunted . The yields arn't what most expected. We will hit a field or farm that's around 60 than 2 or 3 struggle to go 40. I finished a farm today with the windshield wiper on. I made several rounds with the header auger throwing water ( short field).

I hear ya. Feels like I am sitting on a powder keg waiting for some dry weather, we sure needed this mess in August. I still have second cutting of hay to do, Beans here are running 30 to 35, drought has hit us hard this year.

I won't say it any more.

Our yields on beans aren't great either.

My low was 38bu on 20 acres and my high "so far" on beans is 54bu per acre on a 34 acre field.

Only got 2 1/2 days in here in the last 6. Raining too much also.

Gary
