A lot depends on if your just moveing it or if you plan to put this back on the road/farm. If its never going to run again oils etc. woud be fine if you plan to use it then NO don't use the oil. Now you can use brake cleaner and hitting the drums with a hammer

Take the plugs that cover the adjuster and spray with a good penetrating oil. Take a hammer and tap the side of the drum, do this several times over the next day or so. If this doesn't work make you need to pull the truck backwards and forward to try and break them loose. Use heat as a last resort.

if it's handy?,you can drill holes in the brake drum where the shoes would contact the drum, then you can get at shoes with a punch enough to make shoes release.not good on shoes though.camfer holes if using drum again.

I think you need lots of heat unless there was a way to thoroughly soak the whole drum in penetrating oil. I don't think there is any way to remove the whole axle with the drum seized. You might have to replace bearings and seals. Not sure but you need to heat up the entire brake drum so it expands enough to break the rust loose. You may even have to break the drum. The only other thing you could try is to put a bunch of weight in the truck and tow it to see if the drum might break free after spraying generous amounts of penetrating oil, if you can get it behind the drum so it can try to soak in. Maybe someone has a different suggestion? But I think it will need heat. Good luck Dave
