As some of you know my tractor buddy Wayne W. of Keystone Heights, FL has been battling a losing war with cancer for the past 3 yrs. He passed away last Thursday. I wrote out the below as a farewell - posting here for his friends and family that read this site. For my friend Wayne God looked around HIS Garden and found an empty place. He had no driver for His Allis-Chalmers tractors. He then looked down upon HIS earth and saw your glowing face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. HIS Garden must be beautiful, as He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain. And He knew that you would never pull a plow on earth again. He saw your path was difficult; he closed your tired eyes, He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and then He gave you wings to fly. When you are sleeping so calm and free of pain, We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. Wayne - you've left us precious memories, your love will be Claudia's guide, You live on through your children; you're always by their side. GOD is wiser than I so go get on that old Allis, hook up the plow and enjoy the ride. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you back home. May God Bless & Keep You I'll miss you buddy ShepFL
